Private Transfers from Rio to Ilha Grande

PRIVATE VEHICLE & SHARED BOAT

Pick ups are possible between 5:30 am & 15:00pm only!

You will drive about 2 hours from Rio to the town of Conceicao de Jacareí and then have passage provided on the next regular speed boat which takes around 20 minutes to reach the main pier of Abraao on the island.

The regular speed boats depart daily between 08:30am & 18:00 pm, which requires you to depart Rio by at least 15:00pm in order to have no problems making one of the boats in time.

If you need to depart later than this, then you will require a full private service which includes and private boat as well.

PRIVATE VEHICLE & PRIVATE BOAT

These transfers can depart at any time of the day. You will be picked up at your preferred time and travel a couple of hours to where a private boat will be waiting, just for your group, to take you to Ilha Grande.

This is for people who want the quickest way to the island, without waiting for scheduled boats. An especially good option if your flight is arriving later than 15:00pm to one of the Rio airports. If you are staying close to Vila Abraao but not in the town, then these transfers have the extra advantage of being able to take you directly to your hotel.

Boats used are for groups up to 5 people, so if your party is larger than that, please consult us for a quote!

Private Transfers from Ilha Grande to Rio de Janeiro

SHARED BOAT + PRIVATE VEHICLE

The share boats from Ilha Grande have scheduled departures from the main pier of Abraao village. You select your time of boat departure while making your reservation, and then pick up your tickets from an agency once on Ilha Grande. The driver will be waiting on the mainland for your boat to arrive, and then you drive to the airport if taking a flight, or to your accommodation in Rio city.

PRIVATE BOAT + PRIVATE VEHICLE

If you need to depart the island outside the hours of the regular boats, then this transfer is for you. You let us know during the reservation process when you want to depart, and we will confirm where you meet your private boat in the Abraao township of Ilha Grande.

Once you arrive at the mainland your driver will be waiting to take you the rest of the way to one of the Rio airports, or to your accommodation in the city of Rio.
