Yes, as long as your accommodation is within the central pick-up zone of the city (Rio, Paraty, or similar), pick-ups from Airbnbs or apartments are possible. You must provide the full address during booking to confirm availability, including either the hotel name, or apartment number.
You will receive a confirmation with a scheduled pick-up window the day before your transfer. The driver or local operator may also contact you via WhatsApp or email with updates on the day of travel.
- Galeão (GIG) Airport: Terminal 2 – International departures – gate D (outside, on the middle island).
- Santos SDU Airport: At the Infraero information desk – at the entrance to the departure terminal (terminal where you check-in for flights).
Yes! The boat ticket is included in all transfers to or from Ilha Grande. It’s a key part of your journey and there’s no need to arrange it separately.
No, the transfer service includes a boat ticket to Vila Abraao only, which is the main town on the island.
Yes, water taxis operate from Vila Abraao to other areas of the island. These can be arranged locally or through your accommodation provider. If your accommodation is not located close to Vila Abraao, the water taxis are very expensive.
Children’s Policy
- Babies (0–12 months): Free (on parent’s lap)
- 1 yr 1 mo – 3 yrs 11 mo: Half price (own seat)
- 4 yrs and older: Full price (own seat)
- Bring your own child seat if desired – not legally required on our vehicles
- If bringing a child seat for babies, fare is half price
The logistics for the next day’s transfers are set the night previous when all the reservations are in. This is when a route for pick-ups is set, and it changes daily depending on where people are staying in Rio. What may be the first pick-up one day, might be one of the last the next day, depending on the most efficient route.
You must notify us as soon as you find out your flight will be late. You may be able to join a later service if there are available seats. If there are no other available departures for your arrival day, then the service becomes a ‘no show’ with no possibility of a refund or rescheduling for another day. You must seek compensation from either the airline or your travel insurance.
Please go to the main tourist pier of Vila Abraao and join Line 02. Our representative will have your name on a list and will come and find you there. You need to be on the pier 20 minutes before the scheduled departure.
While you sit undercover on the boats, if it is raining, it is possible some rain will blow into the boat while it is moving, therefore we recommend you have a raincoat handy.
Likewise, the sun can enter at some angles depending on its position and your seat on the boat. therefore we recommend you have sunscreen and a hat.
No, Ilha Grande is a roadless island. All transport is by foot or boat. The island is protected and does not have vehicle infrastructure.

- 1 medium suitcase (67 × 48 × 27 cm) OR 1 small carry-on (55 × 40 × 25 cm)
- 1 personal item (e.g. backpack) which will travel on your lap.
Extra Fee:
- Oversized or additional luggage: R$100.00 per piece (each way)

Notify us as soon as you realize you have left something on one of the vehicles and we will be happy to help locate it. If we need to send transport to return it to you, you will be charged the value of a new ticket.
