Transfers between Rio and Paraty
Get picked up from your accommodation in either Rio to get transferred to Paraty, or from Paraty for the transfer in the direction of Rio de Janeiro. This transfer is actually made up of two smaller transfers which take people to the docks for the boats to Ilha Grande. You will need to change van half way and continue in another van the rest of the way joined by people coming from Ilha Grande.
Regular Transfers between Rio International GIG Airport and Paraty
From Rio’s International Galaeo Airport (GIG) you can now book regular transfers to Paraty. Our representative will meet all flights arriving between the hours of 08:30am and 20:00pm. If you are arriving before 08:30am then we have a designated area in Terminal 2 where you will be met at 08:30am by the representative. The first transfer will depart for Paraty at 09:30am.
Because the transfers are regular they are shared with other people arriving at the airport at similar times. Because of this you may have to wait up until 1 hr for other guests to arrive on their flights, but usually a lot less than an hour. If your flight is delayed the transfer will wait up until 1 hr, and if you have not arrived on time the airport receptionist will still meet you at arrivals and put you on the next available transfer with spare seats. You will be dropped off at your accommodation within the township of Paraty.
Also there are 2 regular transfers from Paraty to the airport daily which pick-up from your accommodation within the township of Paraty and drop off at the Rio international Airport (GIG).
