Vehicle Change
Halfway through the journey, the vehicle will make a stop.
Passengers traveling to Ilha Grande will disembark here to board a boat, while those continuing to Paraty will switch to another vehicle for the rest of the trip.
You will be guided to your new vehicle by staff.
Baggage Rules
Included:
- 1 medium suitcase (67 × 48 × 27 cm) OR 1 small carry-on (55 × 40 × 25 cm)
- 1 personal item (e.g. backpack) which will travel on your lap
Extras:
- Oversized or additional luggage: $20 USD per piece (each way)
- Notify us ahead of time for unusual items like surfboards or strollers

- You carry and handle your own luggage
- We are not liable for lost items
- If we recover a lost item, return is subject to a ticket fee
Children’s Policy
Reservations for children: if your child is between 1 & 4 years old, or you wish to bring a child seat, contact us to make a booking.
- Babies (up to 12 months):
- Can ride free on a parent’s lap
- If they’re in a car seat, the cost is half price
- Kids 1 year and 1 month to 3 years and 11 months old:
- Pay half price with rights to their own seat
- Kids 4 years and older:
- Full ticket price, with rights to their own seat
- Parents must bring car seats if they use one
- Car seats are not needed by law on our vehicles
Pick-Up Rules
- Provide Your WhatsApp Number: When making your reservation, include your correct WhatsApp number. This is how you will be notified the estimated pick-up time the night before.
- Locate the Meeting Point: Go to the designated meeting point on the top level of Terminal 2 at Rio Galeão Airport. Specific details about the meeting point will be included in your booking confirmation.
- Van Arrival: The van will arrive at the meeting point after picking up passengers from the city.
- Allow for Delays: Traffic and other passengers may cause occasional delays. We ask for your patience and understanding.

Delays may be unavoidable during holidays and events such as Carnival, and New Years.

Note: Above flight arrival times are reference only and do not guarantee you will be at meeting point in time if your flight is delayed or you are delayed at immigration.
Pick-Up Time & Details
- You’ll receive a WhatsApp message the night before with your estimated pick-up time
- Be at the meeting point no later than the allocated time
- Delays due to flights or immigration are not our responsibility – missed vans count as No Show (no refunds or reschedules)
Private Transfer Options
Pick-up is available for flights arriving at any time of day.
Our driver will meet you after the baggage claim area with a sign, and you will continue directly to your accommodation in Paraty or neighboring areas.

- Book the city transfer instead and list the hotel as your pickup address
Pick-Up Private Transfers
Your driver will meet you outside the baggage claim area with a sign, and you will depart immediately to Paraty.
Drop-Off Shared Transfers
Drop-offs are available at accessible locations within the town limits of Paraty and Jabaquara.
However, there are some exceptions to consider:
- Historic Center: Certain streets in Paraty’s historic center are restricted to pedestrian access, so vehicles are not permitted to enter these areas. Drop-offs will occur at nearby, designated points.
- Paraty Mirim: Shared transfers do not service this area.
- Difficult or Unsafe Access: Locations that are challenging or unsafe for vehicles, such as steep, narrow roads, will not be accessible.
Drop-Off Private Transfers
- Private services can drop-off at the same locations, plus other nearby neighboring areas around Paraty. If you have a doubt as to whether your area is included, please contact us.
- Some areas of the historic center are off-limits for vehicles. If you are staying in one of these areas, you will be taken to the closest access point.
Refunds, Changes & Credits
- Cancel 78+ hrs before: 75% refund or full credit
- Cancel 48 –78 hrs before: 50% refund or full credit
- Cancel <48 hrs before or no-show: No refund
- Change requests:
- 1 Free change if 24+ hrs before and space available
- R$50 fee <24 hrs before
