  • Once departed Rio the drive time to marina is approx. 2 hours (depending on traffic)
  • Boat crossing takes approx. 25 minutes
  • Does not include wait times for the van at meeting point or the boat departure.

There is covered seating on the boat, but bring rain protection because rain and ocean spray may blow in. We advise sun protections because some seats may be exposed to the sun. Life jackets are on board and boats have radio contact with the coast guard

Delays may be unavoidable during holidays and events such as Carnival, and New Years.

  • Departure 1 – Van passes between 05:45 – 07:15
    • Domestic flights arriving until 06:00
    • International flights arriving until 05:00
    • Estimated arrival on island: 10:00
  • Departure 2 – Van passes between 08:45 – 10:15
    • Domestic flights arriving until 09:00
    • International flights arriving until 08:00
    • Estimated arrival on island: 13:00
  • Departure 3 – Van passes between 12:45 – 14:45
    • Domestic flights arriving until 13:15
    • International flights arriving until 12:30
    • Estimated arrival on island: 17:30

Note: Above flight arrival times are reference only and do not guarantee you will be at meeting point in time if your flight is delayed or you are delayed at immigration.

Pick-Up Time & Details

  • You’ll receive a WhatsApp message the night before with your estimated pick-up time
  • Be at the meeting point no later than the allocated time
  • Delays due to flights or immigration are not our responsibility – missed vans count as No Show (no refunds or reschedules)

Private Transfer Options

Private Vehicle + Shared Boat

Pick-up is available for flights arriving between 05:00 am – 15:00

Our driver will meet you after the baggage claim area with a sign, and you will continue to the marina of Conceicao de Jacareí where you will be provided with an included ticket for one of the following boat departures* to the Abraao pier on Ilha Grande.

*This service only goes to the main pier of VILA DO ABRAAO on Ilha Grande.  If you are staying on other parts of the island, DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE unless you can get to your accommodation from Vila do Abraao.

Private Vehicle + Private Boat

Pick-up is available for flights arriving between 04:00 am – 18:00

Avoid waiting for the public boat departures by having your private boat ready to take you straight to Abraao on Ilha Grande. Also, this is the only option to get to Ilha Grande after the last public boat departs.

This service only takes you to Villa do Abraao on Ilha Grande.
