Below is info to help you understand how to time your visit to the Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side.
Brazil Park Opening Hours
The park opens at 09:00am, and last entrance is at 17:00pm. The park closes at 18:30pm.
If you have limited time, you can see the Brazilian side of the falls in 2 hours if walking briskly.
Recommended time for your visit where you can enjoy them at a casual pace is 3.5hrs.
If think about doing the boat trip, then count on 5.5 hours.
Average Drive Times
*Remember that if you are travelling between Brazil & Argentina you have to do Border procedures. How busy the border is will affect travel time.
Between Foz Downtown Hotels & Brazil side of Falls Entrance = 35 min
Between Brazil side of Falls Entrance & Foz Airport = 15 min
Between Puerto Iguazu Downtown Hotels & Brazil side of Falls Entrance = 1 hr 40 min
Between Brazil Falls Entrance & Puerto Iguazu Airport = 2 hours
Meeting the Driver After the Falls
When you arrive to the entrance of the falls, you will set the time and place where you will meet the driver after your visit. If you have luggage, the driver will show you where the luggage storage room is at the entrance to the park, and you are responsible for storing them there.
Border Procedures
If crossing the border, the driver will show you where to do immigration procedures on the Brazil side. On the Argentine side the driver may take your passports and do the immigration procedures for you.
You are responsible for having your documents in order.
