The Bothy Arequipa Hostel is located in a cozy 17th century three story house that offers you a safe and comfortable place to sleep and relax, enjoy a cup of tea, or devour a hearty pancake breakfast in the morning.
The hostel also has a big-screen plasma TV where you can watch the Champions league football matches, free Internet access and free computers on which to check your email and update your Facebook status, a pool table to be used while your laundry is being done, and a movie room stocked with more than 200 DVDs for you to watch and enjoy!
Our Scottish themed William Wallace bar offers drinks served in big buckets for reasonable prices and there is always someone at the hostel who can bring you to one of the local clubs to party after our bar closes at midnight. Plus, you can always enjoy a cold beer on the rooftop terrace while taking in the beautiful views of Arequipa, the nearby mountains and the El Misti volcano not so far off in the distance.
Near the Bothy Hostel there are bars like Déjà vu and a Mexican place are just around the corner. If you are looking for an authentic Arequipa experience, the shops, bars, and restaurants where all the locals spend their time are super close to our location in the historic center of Arequipa.
