07:00am: transfer from your accommodation in Manaus to the bus terminal, then travel by regional bus for 3 hours, stopping after one hour for 10 minutes before continuing the 1 hour and 50 minutes before arriving at Lindoia village. Here you will travel with our motorized canoe for 1 hour until your arrival to our beautiful Ecological Lodge on the banks of the Urubu river. On arrival the guide will show you around and you can take a swim before lunch.
After lunch you will have some time to try out the hammocks before we go for a canoe trip through the small channels looking for the Pink or Grey Amazon dolphins and paddle through the flooded forest (depending on the water level). Later we will go piranha fishing and see the sun set at the end of the day. Back to the camp for dinner, and then we will hop back in the canoe to search for alligators (caimans) during the night. The guide will try to catch one to give you explanation about the species before throwing it back to nature. Return to the lodge to fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle.
Note - because of limitations to what the boats to the lodge can carry, you are restricted to 8 kilos (17.5 pounds) of belongings. You only need to take a small bag with you and your bigger bags can be stored with the reception of your hotel in Manaus or left at the Manaus office.
